How listings are sourced and ranked — and how to update or remove yours.
Where listings come from
Listings are compiled from publicly available business information (public business profiles, directories, and websites) and from details contractors submit directly. We include business contact information about commercial operations to help homeowners find local trades.
How ranking works
Contractors are ordered primarily by genuine Google review score and volume. Payment never improves your unbiased ranking. Sponsored or featured placements are always clearly labelled.
Editing or removing your listing
If your business appears in our directory and you’d like it updated, corrected, or removed, you have two options:
- Claim your listing — verify ownership and manage your details directly.
- Email us at haruun@unconventionalgroup.ca with your business name and listing URL. We action verified requests promptly.
Accuracy
We work to keep listings accurate, but information can change. We’re grateful when contractors and homeowners flag corrections. We may edit or remove any listing at our discretion.
